Less is more.
You do not need to put hundreds of ingredients into food; in fact, as a general rule of thumb the more stuff you use, the less the chance that it is going to taste good.
Obviously, there are exceptions ot that rule: complicated curries like Shah Jehan’s Last Stew can have gazillions of bits and bobs.
But, as a general rule, keep it simple.
A final note: we have found we are eating less and less meat nowadays.
So, as this blog develops I guess that there will be more vegetable dishes than meat – but I will still be posting fish and meat recipes as our hungry offspring are omnivores.
